In October 2012 a small group of researchers, students and stakeholders gathered in Thurso for a conference dedicated to research in the Flow Country peatlands. Little did we know then that over the intervening years we would hold five more conferences, collaborate on over 40 research projects, and engage with and host scientists from around the world.
This October we welcome you back to Thurso, to look back on our body of work and to look toward the future and the increasingly important role of peatlands restoration in climate change.
