The Association of Chemistry and the Environment (ACE) will host an early-career researcher event on March 15th and 16th to promote engagement and knowledge exchange between post-graduate researchers in environmental science and chemistry. ERI staff are co-organising this event, with researchers at the University of Ljubljana, University of Pardubice, and University of Belgrade.
The event will focus on environmental chemistry and its applications in addressing current global challenges. It will include a scientific programme for presentations (with three €100 awards available), and social and breakout sessions for open discussion on research interests, exploring collaborations, and how ECRs can better engage with the ACE scientific community. The event is open to all Masters students, PhDs, and post-docs who may be interested in joining the ACE community (membership not required).
You can read more about the event here: Chem2Change – Early Career Researcher Event
This event is supported by the ACE Board – which includes academics from leading universities and research institutes from Paraguay, Portugal, Spain, Germany, France, Russia, Serbia, Poland, the UK and Slovenia. ACE Board members form the scientific committee and have been key contacts throughout the organisation of this event. We are grateful for their support!
