Chloe Turner-Dockery

I am researching remote sensing techniques with an application for the offshore renewable energy sector, combining ecological and oceanographic data across spatial and temporal scales, to allow for the monitoring and prediction of environmental impact. I will be focused on the use of Acoustic Doppler Current profilers (ADCPs) for site characterisation, resource management, metocean and hydrodynamic survey. Once validated, benefits include lower cost, lower risk, and greater information coverage at fine scales through use of single and/or distributed sensor platforms.
